Whew!! Great thread! I just read through all 22 pages. I could sit in front of that tank for hours. It's teeming with life. Love it! You're so lucky you have a place in your house to keep that size of tank.

whats your feeding schedule for the tank? eg; amount & frequency
I try and mix it up. I bought about every kind of pellet at Kens and mixed them in a jar. I usually feed them out of that in each end of the tank once or twice a day. Once a week or so I'll do a blanched vegetable and shrimp or bloodworms. I also dangle cucumbers in sometime along with flakes every other day or so. It's quite a bit of feeding but I'm dripping 60 gpd and the nitrates are never above 10ppm.

i had to cut back on feeding and now im going to upped drip to 60-80gpd because nitrate was too high. water company upped the chloramine in water supply so now the lowest i can get after cycling is 20ppm

Here's the newest addition. I'm hoping/thinking he's a male since I think the gal I've had for awhile is actually a gal. He's adapting well but still a bit shy eating with all the others. Even in qt he's had much bluer colors than the other true parrot. image.jpeg

Haven't posted any updates for over 6 months so here's a short video. The stock is 95% the same and other than adding a little more driftwood the tank is the same as well. I plan on getting some more tangled wood and boulders soon.
