I would try and find out, just to make sure the delivery service know that there are live creatures involved.

Yup I have him I want him to color up a bit more before I post he is active but his color might be off because of my water

If its under 3", it probably won't have much coloration......mainly silver and black

I agree with xraycer, under 3" you should not expect much color. In fact I wouldn't expect much until @5". The one below is about 4".

I agree mines at 2-3" right now barely any color on it. Its one of the fastest growing cichlids I've grown but it is in a 200 gallon tank with two other fish.
