New pick up for £1-$0.75!-)

Was out at a garden centre the weekend and here in the UK it's pretty common to have an aquatics vendor within, not sure if this is common in the USA or elsewhere?
Anyway, this particular place takes in trade in fish and sells them for a donation of £1, they toss them in with the plants they sell as it's their largest tank lol, well this fish was gorgeous, I'm thinking probably a midevil but Looks very very midas....
What a steal, tried him in the 300 but got a little picked on so now he resides in the 100g with my gt.
Very happy fish keeper, we've named him mojo!-)

As we all know, gonna be impossible to know for sure what it is, looks awesome to me which is what matters I guess.
In my head that is how well built a grade 5 inch midas should look.
Technically I should call it a hybrid bit who knows eh... No one.

I was thinking it looks different enough to just be a completely different Amphiophus species, tbh.....maybe sagitae or something?

Great looking amphilophus. I agree with Frank looks wise. However, likely just a medevil. Regardless it's lineage great looking fish.
