Does anyone use a powder source for methylene blue? I hate paying someone to dissolve a cheap chemical in water and then ship the water to me...
There are a few different grades such as pharmaceutical and lab, but they all seem to hover around 99.X% purity. On Ebay there are several sellers from the Ukraine and Russia that sell 100g of powder, shipped for around $25 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Methylene-B...959277?hash=item33a9ac156d:g:gUIAAOSwYHxWMVDI). That should be close to a lifetime supply for most hobbyists...The chemical is very stable if stored properly and should last decades without degrading.
