Bracing floor for big tanks

Oh geez here we go with the engineer thing again SMH. Just get the adjustable lally Columns and some 2x10s do as we instructed. It will be fine.

What I have learned is engineers design it it we make there stupid ideas work. But ya I agree with jsodwi jsodwi use your head and support the tank any other supports are not needed but it if makes you feel better go ahead and put them in

Would you drive over a bridge that wasn't designed by an engineer? Good luck with that. An engineer and an architect aren't the same thing.

4 decently strong guys can handle a 7 foot 265 gallon tank. We had 5 guys move my 265 into my house and down a flight of stairs, but the 5th guy was just a spotter/reliever.

I just moved a 210 gallon 7x2x2 for the past two days alone sure im not varrying it down stairs or anything just maneuvring. Could definitely do it with three guys that can carry a little weight
 
wow....theres a lot of hostility in here....

anywho all the suggestions are good....you could simply sister the floor joists together and it'll hold a truck. jack posts are more than enough bracing the tank as well. J's idea is good too. you have the info you can work with, its just up to you to pick which idea you go with.
