Here's a pic this all happened over night and is rapidly getting worse. I'm thinking my other ray may have stung her and she's having a reaction since part of my males stinger is missing and much smaller then her. I'm currently salting my tank with dissolved freshwater salt other then that I'm lost and don't want to lose my over 20inch female.

I have a 220 with two eheim pro twos on it do religious water changes 25% every day and 50% every Sunday with the appropriate amount of prime each time due to high chlorine lvls in the water. I do power feed my fish in all my tanks with various fish and pellets but I clean any residue immediately as well as excrement as often during the day as I can. The only new element to my tank is some anubias plants that have been fogging my water from being destroyed. I have removed those today

I just find it odd my smaller younger male Motoro and all my other fish shoe absolutely no signs of anything they are normal and healthy and I have a clown knife and a silver arrow in with the rays

Strange indeed and does look like some kind of ammonia burn but surely can't be if other fish/rays are ok? Plus there is clearly a torn/open wound on the underside of the disk. If this is from a sting then it should heal providing it has not hit any major organs. Keep the water clean and best of luck. I had a male stung by a female but it hit a vital organ. It was very obvious there was something wrong, the wound was too bad and the ray sadly died after 5 days.

So I've currently cleaned my longer running canister filter which was disgusting and added two purigen media pouch's to help with my nitrite and nitrate lvls which were both through the roof and when I got it tested there were no ammonia in my water at all so strange burns for no ammonia I the water

Well this is day two and I haven't seen any signs of her co edition getting worse so I assume she is starting to heal now that she's calmed down I will keep updating and post some pics tomorrow

did you say your nitrite is high? The nitrite is more lethal then ammonia.
