Am I ever gonna find any? Everywhere I go, places are overrun with pink and purple plastic plants.
I have a severum and I've been fighting with him about keeping real plants in the tank. It just looks awesome, for about a day. I've turned to collecting native plants, but i would really like to find a permanent solution for this.
Anyone have any links to somewhere that has what I'm looking for. Or maybe some diy tips that I don't know about. Thanks.

Whether its real or fake your fish will chew them up. I had fake plants that look real and every type of cichlid I had tore it into pieces eventually.

Usually plants and cichlids never go together unless its discus or angel fish usually.

Forgot the name of them but i have a couple that are great. Not sharp more of a rubbery feel and have stood up against some rambunctious fish. DMD123 DMD123 what are they called (the ones you got for the new tank)

Michael's craft stores have a wide selection of fake plants.
ive thought about using plants from Michael but I worry about there being any sort of toxic dyes or anything. you have used them with no problems?
