nice, I damn near had them all but downgraded to some P's that are really worth keeping IMHO I have a 17" maybe 18" black and a 6" Manny. By mistake I drained to much water on my 12" diamond tank and he died.
Thats rough man.......yea i pretty much got out of keeping piranhas......10 tanks for 10 fish...lol
I have one tank dedicated to an elong lol but I know what you mean about 1 fish tanks....that'd get old fast.
It just sucks when they are your favorite fish..... cant really divide tanks with egg crate either unless its at least a 125 or the foot print isnt big enough....
Your gonna love that elong tho....one of the more aggresive species. My old one was literally psychotic darting and hiting the lids even when nobody was near the tank you could hear him from another room lol
haha ya this one darts around quite a bit. He's not terribly afraid of me lol. I tried to get him to liven up a bit with a couple QT'd feeders I had for my native tank but he could care less about them, just watches me haha
Lol just wait till he settles in haha.....hows he doing with the plants?......most elongs ive came across will shred them
I haven't planted the tank completely yet, still working on the aesthetics of it lol. We will see if he tears them up
Well hopefully he will be mellow....my blue diamond would tear up everything but i had better luck with low foreground plants like dwarf sag....maybe that will work.....good luck
