Thanks guys for the great inputs. I've been feeding prefrozen the whole time. No more worries haha.
you already been doing it, THEN make thread asking if it's ok?Thanks guys for the great inputs. I've been feeding prefrozen the whole time. No more worries haha.
being "screwed w/ parasites" Is typically handled fairly easily w/ a few weeks of medication as long as you catch it in time.Huh?? I was already feeding prefrozen fish meat, yeah, but the thing is I still wasn't so sure about parasites though.. you know I mean? So I wondered and asked here for opinions. I just wanted to be certain I was on the right track avoiding parasites. Thanks to the responses on here, apparently I came to the conclusion that it looks like my previously frozen fish meat I was feeding my fish from the grocery is likely safe now cause the parasites are dead from the freezing process.. so I'm good. Thing is, at the time of feeding, sadly parasites wasn't even in my mind then it suddenly came to me... "holy crap, what about parasites?!?!" So now it's pretty relieving to know I'm probably not potentially introducing deadly infectious kinds of parasites to my fish or w/e. I should've asked first but accidentally fed already. Just wanted to know if I was already screwed or not, pretty much..
Learned my lesson before with nasty case of camallanus worms..
