I use a drip system and keep the lids off my tank and just let nature happen
My basement sits anywhere from 30ish%- 70% humidity depending on what the humidity is outside the house. Typically sits around 50% most of the time.
That has the potential for failure. Do you know what your evaporator core is made from? Is lead used to solder it together?it's not always based on seasons, but how you heat/cool your house/shop as well. We run central air and the condensation hose simply goes into a 5 gallon bucket and when it gets full, I use the exact same water to top off the tanks a good part of it just came evaporated from

Cooler air temp=more evaporation. Stop running your AC. Not what I do though lol.
