Better housing for polys for life

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Don't worry about stock if you like water changes. Check this fella out. Had a 155 bowfront and made it work without rid x. This hobbyist was amazing! Look at is diverse stock....

This is not something you should support. That poor Silver.

I used to have a silver, pacus, oscars, clown knife and tsn in my 400g, but since we move to a smaller house cant use that 400g no more.:(

I feel bad for that aro... It's back looks affected as well. I agree with DMDs response

I would look at it like this. If your planning on realistically getting another realy large tank down the road. Then get the 180. If not then go for the 225.

I agree with dmd on the stocking though. I do multiple wc per week probably dont have to but its what im used to amd i dont feed every day. Im all for more poly's the better but i lean to easier maintenance. Just between the ornates and endlis i shiver at thinking what the wc schedule will be like when they are full grown lol

Bummer, I would love a 400g but same boat, small house with no room. At least in my case we did a full gut/remodel so I could at least get an 8ft tank. So if we are saying 'this is it the last and final' I would change my vote to the 225. Just more floor space, not really that much water gain but some.

So i decided to get the 180g for now, after the negotiation it went down from $300 to $250 with stand and diy sump filtration.image.jpeg image.jpeg
Ill just save some of my left over money for a better tank probably in 3-4 yrs and buy a bigger one and some for more polys:D
