Removing foam under 400 acrylic tank hard plumbed

Went off flawlessly other than some minor tote overflows due to throw DC pump we were using was stupid strong haha. Ended up keeping 80% or more of the water. Tried our best to level, it's off 1/8th" . Thanks again to millerkid519 millerkid519 because he almost got stung multiple times, a lot of tail swipes today.

So why did you have foam under tank to begin with?

I guess I'm still missing something. What was the thought process of why you decided to remove the foam?

Apparently foam is only appropriate for rimless or frameless glass tanks. For acrylic apparently it's fine if it's completely level, otherwise it tends to twist the tank and cause seam separation at pressure points. I had it there because i didn't know better, my seams are like 6/10 shape id say so I'd like to preserve them for as long as I can.
