Should i get 3 tiger muskies or 5 smallmouth and largemouth bass with crappies and catfish. The pond is 15 by 15 by 4
No tiger muskies grow an average of 30-48 inches in wild so more like 30 inches at mostpond is DEFINITELY not big enough for an Esox species that big.
I'm well aware, you have to look at the type of fish you are keeping too. fast moving, stream lined fish. In my opinion 15 feet is no where near enough room for these predators to feel comfortable. No tiger muskies grow an average of 30-48 inches in wild so more like 30 inches at most
Seriously, how many people here keep arowanas, and other big fish in tanks? Even a really big tank would proportionally be smaller for an arowana than a 15x15 ft tank for a tiger muskie. Why's everyone getting their weiner in a bunch over this? Almost every single person on this forum keeps a large fish in an aquarium that is almost certainly proportionally smaller than a tiger muskie in a 15x15 ft pond.I'm well aware, you have to look at the type of fish you are keeping too. fast moving, stream lined fish. keeping 4 feet of water cold enough for an esox is another issue entirely as well.
