Alligator drags Toddler in water at Disney Resort

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Disney will pony up the bucks to the parents, more safe guards will be put in place, and the gators, guests and the 7 dwarfs will all live happily ever after.

a 20lb weight is all it takes to drag a person under water. You or I could have experienced the same fate by fishing and getting our clothing caught on a hook that was attached to a fish of 20lbs or more.

Disney has culpable liability here. Really no argument there. They are not going contest the law suit, Thats the last thing the happiest place on earth wants. insurance will flip the bill, and as I stated all will live happily ever after.

I feel like this is the Ford Fiesta issue all over again. Disney knew about a problem and decided not to fix it because it would be cheaper in to pay up rather than hurt their image.

Funny how everything comes full circle with enough time.

Frank mosquitos?

Your not seeing that this was not a safari and continue to avoid the fact that mgmt was told of these issues prior to the attack.

When ever ive been away and did activities there were always some sort of waiver stating "hey if you swimm with these dolphins they may kill you amd its not our responsibility"

Plus disney set up the event that night to watch outdoor movies on the beach of a lagoon where gator may or may not come to shore.

and what if there were Moquitoes transmitting malaria and no warning sign? DOES that mean Disney should be held liable?

Quite possibly if they had breeding grounds on property. Personally I hate all of these lawsuits as much as the next guy but in an area with malaria outbreaks they maybe considered negligent

no offence, but there a very large deference between, large alligators and mosquitoes,

That argument just does not hold up in water, apparently nether do kids when there gators about. Which is the culpable liability.
