and I would say the same thing about gators you say about controlling mosquitoes. Might be easier to relocate them, but no way of making sure they don't come back. Put up as many fences as you want, the babies will crawl right through it and we have already seen pictures and videos of gators climbing fences

my wife makes the point that because its Disney, her assumption would be that there safety is secured from gators, and not something she needs to worry about really. And I can see her point.

and what if they didn't have breeding grounds on the property but the person was still bitten and infected on their property?

Probably not as likely but I'm not an expert and depends on the body of water:

If there is a potential mosquito problem on private property, you may file a complaint with Public Health's Environmental Health Division by calling 206- 263-9566. Public Health does not have regulatory authority to require property owners to remove mosquito habitat except if the habitat is in violation of solid waste law. We can send educational materials that provide guidance on reducing habitat. If the habitat is on public property, we will inform and advise the appropriate property owner.

and again, what about every other private resort on coastal property? If that's the case every few hundred yards of coast should have a sign that warns people of sharks......and I mean every stretch of coastline in the WORLD. Are we really gonna DO that?


it's like buying a fish that grows too big for you - do the research on the area you plan on vacationing. The responsibility is on the party travelling. I'm not going to travel to the Amazon with out knowing what can kill me.

I can not be sued because a mosquito with what ever virus breed in my old tire out back, I can be sued if my gator got loose and mauled some one.
