ID sharks theories?

I picked up several ID sharks, very small ones, about 2" long. Five of them, they are eating well and looking clean and healthy. Right now they are in a 30 gallon tank and once they begin to grow I'll have them in a 75 that has been set up long term.

I want to set back up my 225 soon so maybe they will go there in a few months. I am tempted to put them in my yard pond for the summer but past experiences with herons makes me a bit gun shy on that.

It will be interesting to see how fast they grow and how big they get under ideal conditions...

Pangasius larnaudi,they resemble paroons.I will try to post some photos of my trio.They constantly move back and forth.

WOW! I googled them, I had to take a second look at mine to be sure mine were just ID's !!! One of the best things about fish keeping, always something new!

Yes, most of the different Pangasius species strongly resemble each other when they are small and young.I'm hoping the two newer fish that I recently bought dont turn out to be ID's.

I am pretty sure some paroon sharks were on sale at a local store some months ago.

They do make their way to some stores from time to time,especially in Cali
 
I'd think it is nearly impossible to score black ears when buying IDS. The former are rather rarely available and when they are, they go for 10x-20x the price of an IDS.
