These are pearl gouramis, i believe the first pic is a female and the bottom a male. The fins on their belly are smooth on the top fish and spiked on the bottom fish, right under the gills.

The other noticeable difference is that the dorsal fin is less attached on the bottom fish as well as spiked edged, and the top fish's dorsal fin is more attached.

I would say yes but it is easy sex them once full grown. The bottom definitely male and top is a little harder to tell, the pic isnt showing as good of a profile shot.

They don't stop moving lol. They are little too maybe 2 inches. I'm excited for the great coloration already

My new gold ram. I got an apisto too. Not sure what species because the owner said apisto and I was like okay well apisto is for apistogramma i believe it is a blue faced one. I will get a pic when he comes out from his cave.
