What are you cooking today.

Sunday's I usually am the short-order cook. We have eggs/omelets to order, hash browns, bacon, pancakes, crepes, french toast, breakfast steaks/chops/sausage. Depends on the day.
We spent the morning planting trees so, for brunch today, I made a cool BLT macaroni salad. This time the Lettuce (Which is usually baby spinach) was exchanged for celery. Good eats after coming in from the Alabama heat.

Well pops pops might like this, pork chops marinated in pomegranate oil, spices, garlic powder, Scanlon oil, a bit of brown sugar and a small amount of lemon juice (tenderize), meat was tenderized prior to cooking. Pomegranate oil sounds odd but it seeps down into the meat and makes it soft leaving behind a very light taste.

Yes i do!! looks tasty indeed, pomegranate goes good with pork..

Today I had thinly chopped steak so I was initially going to make steak on a bun but decided to go with a wrap instead, pic is of it on the grill so it holds together better and melts the cheese inside

Did really well on the squid yesterday so tonight's dinner was all about calamari. Seared squid salad with Asian herbs, fried shallots, and Vietnamese fish sauce dressing.
