I've read that these fish can grow to 10 inches with females getting smaller around 6 inches. Very neat fish their mouths remind me of datnoids

He could live out his life in a 90G as a solitary fish. Myersi do not get along with their own kind at all (at least in my experience) and are easily stressed if with a more aggressive species. Unless you have a much larger tank, best to keep him by himself as a 'show fish'. ...
