Sadly I'm going to be out of the hobby for a bit while I move houses. Instead of leaving this equipment sitting around I would like to see it put to good use. This computer is an insurance policy for your aquarium, it has saved my ass countless times from making stupid mistakes.
Things I have done with it:
Monitor all aspects of the tank via my phone and receive text and email alerts
Leak detector rope around the tank, 1 drop of water touches it I get a text
Floats to tell my if my tank water is too high or too low, if the tank is too high it will auto turn on a pump to drain it
Tightly control temperature
Use the PH value to tell me when to do a water change
Control all my LED lights
Create a feed button that when I hit it turns off all my pumps so I can feed, and then turns them back on 15 minutes later
Control my ATO and RO filter
Leak detector in my basement around my hot water heater, sump, ejector pit.
The things you can do with this is endless!
The system is completely functional although I would recommend a factory reset when you get it unless you want to run a tank identical to mine. If you were to piece this system together it would take a lot more $$$ then what I am asking for.
