Just get more Polys! I've bought "aggressive" bichirs off of people and they didn't attack anyone when it got into my tank.

Whenever you guys post/comment "Dabola", I think of Polypterus sp. Dabola instead of an Endli.
I have 2 endli Dabola and neither have created nor been a part of any conflict. By the sound of it though, it may just be establishing and maintaining a pecking order. I see that in my grow-out tank a lot with the younger fish, especially when I add or promote them. Usually if the fish is much bigger than everyone else, everyone will know the pecking order and follow the rules. When the largest fish in the tank are similar sizes, that's when you get aggression towards each other. At this point in the hobby I've owned over 75 or so different individual Polys, and I've yet to see a naturally aggressive fish that is mean just for the hell of it. I've only seen aggression when there's been new tank mates introduced, during feeding time (closer to they grab the same piece and both won't let go), and when I re-arrange the tank. Even then I've never really expirienced aggression worth noting. IMO the endli Dabola is going to is going to try to establish/maintain his status weather you remove him or not. The faranah endli will figure it out eventually once you put it in the tank with the endli Dabola (weather that's tomorrow, or 6 months from now). My vote would be to beef the faranah endli up in the 75g and once it's readily accepting food and has some girth, throw it in the 150. Once it learns its place, it'll have 2x the tank space to grow. And then you'll have another tank for more Polys hahahahaha.
The are pretty mellow right now, we'll see how it goes as time goes by. Probably still establishing the pecking order
