Ocean Caught Fish As Fish Food?

So guys I am starting my first Monster Fish Tank and had this great idea of feeding my fish some wild ocean caught fish. I like to go Spearfishing a lot and can literally shoot a **** ton of reef fish in an hour. Whether it be Calico bass, perch, or rockfish, My idea is to fillet the fresh fish when I get home, cube it up into bite sized pieces, then freeze overnight and keep frozen till ready to thaw for feeding to kill any potential parasites the fish may be carrying. I figured fish food can get pretty pricey especially keeping bigger fish, this way I can literally stock pile fish and basically feed my fish for free. Any one do this? Any kind of vitamins or nutrients I can add to the fish meat? I should add that I can also harvest big Pismo Clams, Scallops, different types of edible Snails, and Sea Urchin. Any of these safe to feed our big fish?

I use scallops, hake & prawns to feed my fish, soak it in Seachem Nourish. Avoid overly fatty fish and you should be good.

The marine lab I used to work at ALWAYS froze sardines caught from the bay to feed to the fish at the lab. I say go for it. Just don't feed fresh meat to your fish. Especially if it's saltwater food to a saltwater aquarium or fresh to fresh. A lot of nasty things can be introduced to your fish that way.

There are relatively few diseases that can transmit from salt to fresh or vice versa, but there are some. And one in particular can be transmitted to freshwater fish from eating infected flesh of saltwater fish. I forgot which but I can bust out my textbook if you're curious!

I believe it's Ichthyophonus. One of those other "ichs" that isn't "ich"
