My wife does not care for the hobby, but after realizing that one of the rays probably ate a discus she has offered to feed them during the day so she doesn't lose any more discus

Sounds like a keeper dude, I find this is a very make dominated hobby and few women seem to get it at all! My fiancé is okay with my 220g and even allows me to have it on the living room! But I doubt I will be allowed to get any more tanks as i mortgaged to much relationship capital getting my Doberman pup...

We also talked about an upgrade for my midevil (that I've already been planning) and the process of moving the fish (which I've also been thinking about).
It's going to be a big move and I thought I was gonna take care of the fish alone.

Yeah it's pretty cool. My GF doesn't care much for the fish but she also doesn't care that I have them. Would not want to be one of those guys that has to ask his wife for permission on everything. Some guys can ask for things and be told no and that's that.

I can't imagine having to live with someone under those conditions.My wife does not like long wiskered catfish but that won't stop me from bringing one home if I want to.

Yeah, that would suck. My wife doesn't care about my fish, but she does sarcastically ask how much my latest overnight delivery costs. Guess it depends on who makes the $$, or how much u2 are stressing about money. My 7 yr old son once announced to all the customers and to my wife during lunch at a restaurant that I spend $180 on clown loaches! Funny!

Lol. I feel fairly lucky after reading all this. We have 5 tanks set up now, 3 of which are full of da wife's fish. I had to talk her out of an Arapaima a while ago, and she's wanted a giant pacific octopus for a long time.

Cuz he went to the LFS with me to pick them out. $25 for 5" Clown loaches. We go back to meet up with my wife and daughter next door for lunch, he blurts out "daddy just spent $180 on fish!" Everyone else was laughing and smiling. Of course he is a mama's boy, but he can throw a football with a tight spiral!

I'm no CL keeper but twenty five bucks for a five incher sounds pretty good deal from what I have seen.
