I have an AC110 that I planned on setting up on my new 180 but just realized that it somehow got damaged while in storage for a few months. There is a sizable chip broken off from the where the water returns into the tank. The missing chip is on the right side of the output and without fixing it, water will spill out of that side. I still have the chip and I picked up the silicone but haven't tried it yet. However, I've been reading about it and a lot of people say that silicone won't bond to plastic well and that I should use some super glue or something. What do you guys think?

***This is not a Crack or leak repair. There is a good size chip broken completely free from the filter. Ill post pics later. Thanks for your advice

Go to an arts and crafts store and get some non toxic super glue. I've repaired an AC 110 with that before. Not sure you need the non toxic version but I felt more comfortable using it.

Loctite super glue gel.. non toxic for fish...(black and blue or blue and grey bottle. I can't remember cause they recently changed the look). It is widely used in the salt community for frags. I use it all the time to glue java fern to drift wood
