Uaru fernandezyepezi

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would keep an eye on the interaction between the pandas and the tetras. Mine enjoyed scarfing down a few large neons I tried with them. Where did you get yours?
I am in Ireland. I will keep an eye, the Lemons are fairly big and I am hoping growing with them will help. Most info on the net suggests they are "friendly" to smaller fish

Awsome fish and tank set up...

one question..I thought that is a regular uaru? Panda would have horizontal big black spot, not like that. Or I am confuse the other way around?

uaru amphiacanthoides have the big horizontal stipe across its body, fernandezyepezi have a tail bar and vertical black stripe by the tail then a black spot along the dorsal fin.

ahh... thank buddy. learn some thing new.

Not sure what you mean by they change Damian, are you saying they lose their spots. Or are you saying there's a chance they can change their markings

Mine are still very fussy eaters. What do you have yours eating?
mine are eating FDBW, splirulina flake, tetra prima
I did have a stand off with them about a month ago because they started to only eat the FDBW. Lasted about 8 days and then they started eating the prima and flake.
they still go mental for the FDBW
