About 8 inches long, sex unsure. What do I have?

Agree with Jon.
Just as a general rule, in any hybrid spawn a large % (perhaps 30%) will look similar to the mother, a sometimes equal % will look like the father (or with slight difference) a small % will look like a distinct cross.
Because of these percentages it is impossible to know just by looking what your fish is.
Anyone who tells you they can tell, is selling snake oil.

I'm seeking feedback if it looks like a hybrid or not. I see some freddy in it.
 
I've been to LFSs that didn't know the difference between an JD and a fire mouth, much less the difference between anything in the genus Parachromis.
I would imagine, that even on this site, you may get 100 different ideas as to what the combination of the fish you have is.
But in reality, "no one" can tell an ID with a photograph.
The only way to tell, is through provenance, if you were to spawn it, there will be no way you could legitimately call it anything, but an unknown hybrid.
