Don't be tempted to use, because many LFS carry this product. This brand is not recommended! Most of the grains are very fine. The powder gets sucked into canisters and all over your filtration. Potentially ruining the motor impellars. I've tried several colors. Green, purplre, and blue are worse. They stick on polys slime coat. Just sharing my experience.

Regarding that aquaterra sand. Forgot to mentioned I used white and black too. 
Thanks a ton. That saves me from waisting my time and money. Nothing worse than crummy products that cause more harm than good.

Its all good. Fun, enjoyment and info is y we're all here. If the product isnt good, id unpost it lol but better to leave it so others can get the heads up too. Pumps can get spendy and nobody likes to here one got killed due to poor products.
