Anybody here tried feeding Phoenix worms to fish?
i recently learned about them, but mostly what i see are them being fed to reptiles.
can they be fed to predatory fish like arowanas?

would appreciate feedback from people who have tried to feed them to their pet fish.

I never used them, but I don't see why they wouldn't be ok. They look like standard waxworms or butterworms, which are perfectly healthy. Only concerns I have ever had for "worms" were that the Butterworms had irritating hairs that various Geckos were getting allergic reactions to, particularly Leopard geckos. Other than that, for fish the majority of them are a great protein source and good way to give them live food that's safe and sterile

Phoenix worms are a great food for many fish particularly arowana a, pile cichlids, most cichlids, sunfishes etc

I've been feeding these freeze dried, purchased from Amazon.com. AKA black soldier fly larvae. Mainly my archerfish eat these, barbs also. Loaches not that interested.

I think I use these a lot accept we call them Morio worms. My fahaka and snakeheads love them! I also feed locusts and fruit fly lava as we have a few great reptile shops near me and their live food is much cheaper then my lfs.

wow thanks Guys :D I'm having hard time finding superworm from suppliers here :( not sure why there's supply shortage.,

Sometimes suppliers have problem with super worm cannibalism, also I prefer to keep and breed mealworms as it is easy

ah yup :) mealworms are too small for my\ arowanas. Last batch of superworms i bought lost lots of them, not sure if its because of the weather here lately.
