Didn't spend a lot of time taking photos, but took the opportunity to grab this shot of the gold morph managuense male in the tank...now about 8". Pleased to see that some of his pattern is starting to come out. Currently have a half dozen of these solo in a 180 gallon tank. Typical predatory parachromis type fish. Fingers crossed for some breeding.

That morph looks amazing. Are these the small one you aquired from segrest farms?
 
Perhaps this one is the cream of the crop. The Alpha. I feel the same way about my parachromis friedrichsthalii. Every time I see today in the fish room post I say you use magical fish food. Lol if I can get three fish to look like yours I'll be alright. I know growing fry out is a process, but you make it look easy.
 
I was actually thinking the other way. The fish that are smaller than this male are still MUCH smaller. I thought they should be growing faster.
