Thanks....every now and then the brasiliensis gets too big for his britches and the pike puts him in his place. ....a little bit of the argentea chasing the wide bars but other than that pretty calm tank.....knock on wood

I find a easy way to get a rough guide for the length of a cichlid is measure from the top of the gravel to the water line, in a 180 about 21 inches, when they start digging you can quickly work out his length
