ive had doviis as large as 16-20" commune in community tanks peacefully
without any aggression. so he might never snap only time will tell.

That is a stunning fish. I have always had mine solo, so I have no experience with one turning into the terminator. Love the set up and other fish. Great job!

from what i know he's still peaceful even with his new owner. dont have
anymore cichlids for now anyways getting the sa/ca/amph itch again... lol

The worse that could happen is choke on a clown loach. The spines will cut right through his troat. But hopefully he doesnt consider them food.

I have a dovii in with a red devil a Jaguar and a hornet azebra tilapia. They are doing fine together.
