People never seem to surprise me..... its a lid for a 20 gallon just buy one ....its not like ur buying a lid for a 500 gallon tank.... majority of the options members listed above are good options for larger size tanks when u run into a great deal of $$$ but for a 20 gallon its gonna be just as expensive as a regular glass lid...honestly if people cant aford a simple glass lid for a 20 gallon can they afford to run, feed and do maintence on the tank?

+1

you can make the sliding glass top for about 12 bucks vs Top Fin for 20 don't save much at that size but personally i like the sliding glass ones better feel more secure and no hinge to wear out.

I use glass top's or plexiglass tops. For plexi make both sides the same and just flip it weekly when you see it start warping

Very true but if he has a material kicking around why not use that. If not going to buy a 2ft lid is probably the next best but $30 is $30 I'd rather spend it in stock

Im pretty sure if he already had the material he wouldnt be asking this question lol

op just save your money and use cling wrap like my buddy did lmao.

Unless he's asking the question not knowing he already has the material? Proof of thought

Anything thats easily cut and water proof done... if not buy one lmao

Cling wrap haha... ...just use packaging tape then u know its gonna stay on lol

You can get an 1/8 inch piece of glass cut from lowes should cost around $8-10 for ur size tank

but its easier to lift the cling wrap for feeding time or w/c lol
