Weird stuff floating in water and on glass

Nothing serious. Not too familiar with algae etc., but my cichlid and pacu tank get that every 4-5 days. Didn't harm any of em. Just bothersome to clean esp. The hard-to/reach areas. A pleco could clean that well.
As for eliminating it, i really have not given mine much attention

Well, true haha! I did weigh them before- whats more bothersome: cleaning the mess of the pleco DAILY with a net or cleaning the algae every 4-5 days? The pleco won since i hate cleaning the harder areas i.e. Motor, tank corners, wires, sand. lol

U can try siamese algae eater and nerite snails. They help a lot too
