  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Have you ever considered planted?

Might be a huge undertaking in that size tank though...piranhas will look good, and I know you'll do them justice biotope wise!
Yes,I have had it planted before.

Meeki group and plants ccccccccccccccccccccc.jpg

I was thinking roots and branches and lots of cabomba and water hyacinth.

That book just got a bunch of specie names all mixed up huh.. That looks like a caribe to me and not a natt.

Fish get reclassified, names get changed.
I don't think the book got it wrong, just old names before new information determind what fish belonged where. It happens all the time.

So back to my original question. Are we saying only 7 p natteri in my 7x2x2?

What's that...200 gallons?

I'd go with 8-10 reds. Are you getting them as juvies? If so, you'll want to get 20+ because they will pick eachother off.

Yep.

When I was looking for my nats 2 years ago, the guy was still calling them serrasalmus.

Yes, and those are not the best drawn pics either.

LOL...that's gotta be the longest nat I've ever seen...

Hi,
Thanks for replying.
I believe my tank is 210 gallons.
I was planning on starting with a group of 2inch juveniles.

You can easily keep 20 sub adults.......adults i would do around 9-12

Overstocking without decour to establish territories helps with piranhas .....people might disagree but ive had success multiple times by overstocking pygo tanks
