Finally into discus

Hi Everyone,

Finally jumped into discus keeping - just wanted to share the new guys I got. The fishes have been in the tank for 2 weeks now and are eating like pigs. Daily 30% water changes are keeping them happy. Any comments/suggestions appreciated

Looks like you're on the right track. Yours are young so your daily water change regime is spot on. When they get full grown, you can trim down the WC to twice a week or two gen weekly depending on bioload. Good luck!

Thank you!! I have 6 of them in my 50 gallon tank. Will be moving them to a 90 gallon tank in April.

Thanks mrrobxc! I plan on keeping up this regime for the next 1 year, I'm thinking they should be done with most of their growing by then.

I bought them from a dealer who ships in big batches of these from a breeder in Mumbai. I got all 6 for Rs 4,500 which should be approx. $70 and they're 2.5 to 3 inches.
