Show your vieja synspilum from rapps

I'm looking to order a group of rapps vieja synspilum red heads, not his melanura from Guatemala, and was wondering if anyone could share what there's looks like from him. Trying to decide between getting a group from him or COA. COA 's male adult looks really nice so was trying to compare to that. Thanks
 
How do you keep that fish off the plants in that tank?

Synspilum i've owned would rip every plant off every structure, out of the substrate, and do it for pure fun if they didn't feel like eating them. Especially one thats' big like that.

I had the same experience.
 
I raised it with plants from a small size, also keep it well fed on veg heavy foods. It doesnt bother the plants at all. Severum in another tank was eating the crypts thus I moved them in with the Syn.
