Update , had him over a year now approx 8-9 inch... not really dovii growth?
Looks like a male Costa Rican blue. How much over a year? It looks pretty decent growth wise. Your not going to get optimal growth rate with all those tankmates.

That's one hell of a mix you got there boss lol you must be the fish whisperer. There would casualties everyday for majority of people with this setup.

Lol, he is as good as gold, as you can see there's a couple of fish under 3 inch. The amphs and Argentea rule ATM, fundamentaly it's likely going to end up the dovii and number tank, the width of 34inch really helps lower aggression IMO. Hopefully he plays nice for a while yet, no more aggressive than any other fish, never killed another fish... still curious if he is a x but who knows.
Also they have all grown up with other fish, they don't seem to get that angry lone fish disorder then, he has grown about 8 inch in the year. The tank has been stocked much lighter in that time, obviously some need removing In the next few months.
About 10" now, a lot heavier tho, called him django lately!-)
