dovii or not dovii?

He beat up the bifasciatus but I think that's due to him being beaten by the bifa when he was smaller...
I actually gave the bifa to a LFS.
Dovii is still behind the Argentea and vieja x in the hierarchy so should be good while that lasts...
There's a 4 inch hemichromis which he ignores, chases the spanner barbs occasionally.

Lol it's fine, salvini went to a polish guy I know, he has a 450l and is looking to breed them.
Butti went today to live in a 180g pretty much alone.
Zonatus for sale.
I have a buyer on hold for the Argentea when the dovii flips.
My mate will take the vieja x back when needed.
Jewels and Amphs and barbs have a tanks around the house they can fit in...
It's all in hand kind off lol.

He is starting to look good, always think it takes years for dovii to start reaching there potential.

I know, I've never seen a nice large dovii in person, the biggest I've seen around here (trade ins at lfs) was about 18inch and all crooked looking, probably due too cramped tanks and crappy water...

My Dovii is about 16 inch now and 5 year old. That is 5 years from spawn, i know exactley as he's home bred. He was Spawned 3/2/12. Just lately he seems to be thickening up rather than putting on length. I also have never seen a large Dovii in person. The largest being my own.

I try to do 50% to 60% every other week. Its hard to keep up with 2,000 UK gals of water and around 25 tanks. Luckily my tap water has zero nitrate.
