Polypterus Onatipinnis + Hepsetus odoe.. Bad Idea?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nope.. is in centimeters. but the width is bigger, is from 50 to 70 cm in the centre. i think it's ok for the ornates, i'm not sure for the characins.. but 180 cm is like 6 ft after all

Yea....I remember calculating out the measurements to inches. Were good from the conversion lol.

I have SD and lower jaw polys in a 6x2x2=180g.
If i add 4 odeo pike will it be fine, i dont want my poly to eat the odeo at night when i turn off the lights.

I know lol.. it was just to be like.. super super sure ! ;)
For the other issue.. I think the same way. i never lost a fish, from my polypterus, but i kept an eye to the size of them. If it's like 1/3 of the biscir i think they'll do fine. maybe, just look carefully to the acclimatation of the pike characin. if they're stressed or injuried they're more and more vulnerable to the biscirs

Hi

Go for the combination :) , I keep the same combo in a 1000 Liter Tank. For adult I would not keep it in a smaller sized tank.
