Looks like the employees are smart and set aside the online orders before they open the doors at 7am, I just got confirmation my orders are ready for pick up.

Couple store in the inland empire that still show available stock on Fx6.
Keep in mind these are the 'new' Fx6 that have a paper inside with instructions how to redeem a free fluval FX gravel vac that connects to the FX6s utility valve, no more maintenance dials. The vac has a small filter sock that polishes out gunk and an extendable vac tube. I plan to use this a lot on my 30" tall 150gs. The Fx4 also includes a free vacuum attachment which fluval will have to mail.

Locked our orders in yesterday for 2 - 125 gallon ensembles and 2 - FX6s. Had to select 2 different stores (about 5 miles away) because of limited quantities. Picked them up this morning right when they opened at 7. Ended up with one older FX6 and one newer one. Will probably exchange the older one for a new one later. Got a refund of $60+tax by repurchasing the 2 tanks in-store before the noon deadline. Also picked up a couple of Aquaclear 110s from Big Al's for $59.99+10% off & free shipping, to run alongside the new FX6s.
Def Leppard Hysteria what is your opinion of their stands? Are they GTG or do they need to be reinforced?
Cohazard how has your experience been with top fin stands? Mine feels super light and looks shockingly underbuilt. I'm kind of scared to use it as is, I'm thinking of building a frame with 2x4s
Am I reading this correctly, the stand fits INSIDE the bottom of the tank???This is my first time using top fin but I am gonna use them without reinforcing. I hauled them into the house holding the center brace and it felt stormy, no wood creaking at all even when leverage loading the tank onto it, and the 150 tall weighs a ton.
I looked at the stands for the 125s when I was in the store and I don't like the floating edges, I like all four corners and the center to be supported and braced, so on the 125 I personally would try to use a cut to fit metal bar/tube to reinforce the corners of possible, but keep in mind these things are backed by warranty.
I would trust they have some engineers that came up with the design and there's no need to worry as long as they're not being banged up regularly or compromised by water damage.
