Birth delay, 5 days

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wow man - hopping it works out for ya!

On day 11 now and still nothing. She is pooping some white stuff still, but no pups. She is getting really weak and i am almost 100% sure she will pass away soon. The pup that she gave birth to are doing great though.

I talked to a guy about this few days ago and he had experienced a birth delay of two weeks on one of hes stingrays. When she finally got them out - 2 where dead and one actually lived. This gaved me some hope, but again, she looks so damn weak now.

Oh man. I'm sorry to hear about this. Hopefully she finds a way to pass them out of her system. Is there any way she can be force induced?

Is it really that hard you think to C-section?
Might sound crazy but if she just gonna die anyway? Tragic situation all ways you look at it. Sorry man

This would only be an option if you physically watched her take her last breath as a last ditch effort to save any pups inside that may still be alive. Should never be considered on a live ray that could potentially turn around imo

That is to just save the pups. What I was saying was to save mamma. Sedated, small incision, pull pups then stitch up. Much better option then watching rays suffer and die. I have watched rays dies and hate it. Tough decision anyway. Maybe someone on here has performed C-section

Maybe he knows something about that.

Unfortunately I don't. This is one of the biggest fears around ray keeping IMO. It is for me at least. Good luck to you and her Proximus.
