Is this hole in the head?

Wondering if this is hole in the head on this pic of my geo. Most of my other fish have the exact same looking thing. Will be getting Metronidazole if it is. Thanks for the help. Any tips would be great too. Sounds like raising the temp and keeping up on a lot of water changes helps quite a bit as well. Should I do the salt treatment after the parasite is removed to help cure the skin of the fish.?

I don't know if that is HITH for sure,but keeping the nitrate level low will help .

I don't have live plants do shouldn't have nitrates. I also do a lot of water changes and am a freak with keeping water crystal clear and clean

Ya thought so. I ordered fish lore Metronidazole for overnight shipping to start treating this ASAP. Super annoying. Didn't think much of it since all my fish pig out everyday and are growing well.

so do you think or know you don't have nitrates? I'd test that just in case.

Some SA cichlids are prone to HITH if especially nitrates are not maintained at the lowest possible levels.
