Determining sex of wolf fish

I remember my father having a breeding pair of Mala wolf fish when I was younger but unsure if it was just luck or technique to accurately sex wolf fish. Would be interested in attempting to breed wolf fish after getting out of the hobby for quite q few years. Any help appreciated.

I would say purely of luck. If you want to breed them then best buy a group of juv. mala and grow them up and let them sort out a pair.

Thanks for advice, I'm going take that advice and buy a group of juveniles if I can if I can find someone with them I stock.
