Sounds like that wine that I mentioned a few posts ago.

Hello; The TV show LAST MAN STANDING episode tonight was interesting. It was largely about "safe zone" colleges. A term new to me came up - micro aggressions. Anyone know much about this? I think it refers to words or short phrases that might in any remote way offend someone. The comedy show made fun of a list of such phrases.

here,
The term “microaggression” was used by Columbia professor Derald Sue to refer to “brief and commonplace daily verbal, behavioral, or environmental indignities, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative racial slights and insults toward people of color.”Dec 9, 2013,

while stated racial, these days its any thing that might be said that offends another, no matter the context used in, "its not what you say but how others may perceive it" I go through extensive HR training at work every year on this stuff.

Hello; I did not get that it was restricted to people of color from the TV show.
