I enjoy looking at all of the gangs Tigerfish and others. Besides my baby Black Rhom, my Tigers are my favorite. Right now they are anxiously awaiting their new tank thats being built but its only been 1 week now since i put my 2 "baby" Vittatus in with the Goliath and my first Vittatus. Few scraps here and there but so far they are doing well as Im getting them off live feeders. On close inspection u may see my Goliath''s eye injury. Im a vet-tech so I do have access to a fish Vet. Maybe i will post a pic of his eye in a different thread, but it sure doesnt slow him down. His name is Bird after Charlie Parker one of my favorite musicians. They all have names actually. Everything from my Rhom (Ron Mexico" to my Dat and my Killis. Tigers have changed my life for the better and the knowledge and influence from this amazing Forum has taught me alot. Thanks guys and Gals, sorry for running off at the mouth, but it is a passion.- Jay (Haiticult)

Beautiful specimen, and great looking tank (from what I can see of it).
Thanks. Im a huge fan of live plants, I like driftwood too but not w my tigers as chix has pointed out they could hurt themselves, but Hairgrass, some anubias species are great. I really love Jungle Val and kind of make walls of it so the tigers can snaek around.Another great trick i tried is tying Val together by the leaves or roots and letting them float on top creating about 1/3rd of the tank with cover, thats the Goliath's favorite spot and he will go with anyone who tried to take his spot.

Dayum, you can tell which of the VATF is the dominant one, so thick and pretty :D

Whats the plan for the upgrade?
These guys got a very unexpected albeit temporary upgrade yesterday. My Right hand man and I went Craiglisting at a few stops and stumbled upon a 125, tank, top, Very heavy glass tops i must add, 2 lights, an Fx-5 needing only media, and a very strong but homemade stand. This should buy me a few months until i can get their Monster tank in order. Funny how small they look in the 125, but they are very happy

Here a idea for the final tank:a current tank with tons of valisneria gigantea,I think that would look awesome

Looks amazing man. I like the planting

I added some more plants as im dismantling my 75. It took about 5 pics to cover each section and its responding plants. i Have a Leopard Ctenopoma, 2 Silver Dollars and what was sold to me as a New Guinea. I will post a pic of the Dat in the appropriate section. The store had 3 of them for 50 each. I just grabbed 1 but may go back for the other 2. I have another Dat but he's too small to play in this gang as he is a NTT and only 2". question is i have a great community tank in a 44 long hex and it appears like the angels are breeding. What to do? Relocate all to the 75? or just move The Angels? questions questioms? suggestions?
