So Jeff has gotten some more of my money LOL. I picked up this pair of 'Choco' acaras. Gorgeous fish, picture dont do them justice, major blue spangles on them. When I asked Jeff about them he said they looked like a cross between a green terror and blue acara. I tend to agree.View attachment 1217552 View attachment 1217553 View attachment 1217554

Shucks, I'll have to email Rapps and get some more info. I was thinking about doing a planted tank with the choco, some laetacara and some cory's or something. They are the wild caught. They are truly beautiful fish. I was eyeing them for a couple of months too, then I just pulled the trigger lol. I also picked up a pair of the 'buenaventura' ones as well. As far as ultimate size, not sure.
I will try to get some pics up. Honestly, they are not much to look at right now, but they are feisty! The 'chocos' are a little skittish still, not the 'buenaventura' they dont hide when I come up.Andicca, have you got photos of the sp "Buenvatentura"? I can't wait to see these guys grow in to adult specimen (assuming they aren't already there lol) great pick up!
