Aquarium Net for BIG fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The think the other trick is having two people to double team the fish and each person armed with two nets, seems to make netting easier. I do like using dividers too

Rubber nets I've found to be the best, and cause little or no damage to the fish. Tackle shops should keep them, especially guys who specialize in trout fishing.

Got it. Zonatus oughta fit in that.

the one you found looks good. I've read about a lot of people using rubber nets, and also pillow cases. Pillow cases are obviously soft and don't have any holes to catch fins in. Plus they hold water for a little bit, which is nice for obvious reasons.

I'm about to move my catfish (12" TSN and 14" RTCxTSN) so I'll be in the same boat in a couple weeks. Let me know what you use and how it goes. Good luck!

You could also find a cheap round bass net and cut the net off of it and replace it with a pillow case!

Edit: You could cut holes in it to let water pass through.
