You could do this. But then eventually you will have to move them again ,probably pretty quickly. So to me its just another chance to stress them or something going wrong. If you can I would go ahead and move them to the rearing tank to start with.
I used a turkey baster to transfer some EBA wrigliers into a 10g. I fed them with daphnia I cultivated and they doubled to tripled in size in a month. But then one by one started to die off and now I have only one left that appears to be making it. Not certain of the cause but appears to be genetic weakness and wonder if others have similar experience.
I would say a 40 would be a good size for these.Does anybody know the minimum tank size for a pair of acara so i can make sure they dont grow out of if.thanks agian
I have some fry that im raising, the problem im having is getting them to take anyting but live foods. The fry about a month old and about 1/2 inch to 3/4 now.I lost fry after 30days it could be genetics but not certain.
