thanx. For the record I don't actually OWN a 40lb Flathead, I just caught-and-released that one. I do own the Moray and albino Channel Cat though

I've saw some Hydrocynus Vittatus at my LFS recently and I was very tempted to get them. Although I know that this isn't the "Goliath" Tigerfish featured in River Monsters. They look extremely similar though! What's their aggression like compared to a Dovii, or even a Hydrocynus Goliath?

Vittatus are in a different episode where he scuba dives Into a school. Also common wolves are in the electric eel episode.

Ah, I think I may have seen that one. Doesn't he bait the water while he's scuba diving with them? Crazy! Not to mention the crocs :P

Definitely is, there are more than just one species of river monster over here in South Africa
