thanx. For the record I don't actually OWN a 40lb Flathead, I just caught-and-released that one. I do own the Moray and albino Channel Cat though

Some do, but not mine....mine will get about 24-36" but there are species that grow 12-13 feet

I've saw some Hydrocynus Vittatus at my LFS recently and I was very tempted to get them. Although I know that this isn't the "Goliath" Tigerfish featured in River Monsters. They look extremely similar though! What's their aggression like compared to a Dovii, or even a Hydrocynus Goliath?

Vittatus are in a different episode where he scuba dives Into a school. Also common wolves are in the electric eel episode.

Ah, I think I may have seen that one. Doesn't he bait the water while he's scuba diving with them? Crazy! Not to mention the crocs

Definitely is, there are more than just one species of river monster over here in South Africa
