What do you mean? I literally don't think this ray is as amazing as a nice BD ray with awesome rings and if possible even some Ti spotting between the rings. Personal preference, ever heard of it? There is men who like asian women, others like blonde european women and others like latinas, african or w/e. Different taste is a real thing haha.

This ray is something I'd rather own. Of course if I was after making money I'd prefer the ray OP posted, but if it's not about the money I'd prefer this one:

It is the uniqueness that makes it most appealing.. but me i prefer big spot BD to TI BD- to each his own... Hens do not do it for me because the contrast in color is not as distinct... but that being said i would love to see op posted fish 2 years from now to see if the spots grow with it... because for 70k and they do not... man would i be upset lol

Yeah I know, some people just love the unique/rare things. I don't really care about that I just go for what does it the most for my eyes/joy.

Forsure I understand different strokes different folks but if two rays were offered the BD you posted and that super white right now for free your telling me you would take the BD?? I'm with Jay with the big spots . I know what your saying though which is not a bad thing

If I was about to resell for money, then yes, I would obviously take the one that will get me 100k. If I was about to breed and then make money selling the pups, then again, obviously the big spot. If its just about keeping the ray I want of those 2 without breeding or selling, then I'd rather go for the BD Ti

Actually.. I have been keeping an eye on most of this breeders 'SW' lines of rays and many of them keep their huge spotting. I saw this ray when it was in it's first month of life... this ray has gotten much nicer since then.

I kinda like this ray way more on this pic. Maybe its the ugly green background that disturbs me and makes the ray look too weird

Now im confused. I thought people are paying a premium for BD is because they have bigger and more whiter spots.

There are quite a few who believe these huge spotted BD like hybrids are created with Henlie blood lines introduced. Me included and have stated as much for quites a few years.
